SDW converted a former nail salon into their new design office. Efficient space planning created enough space for four work stations, a conference area, guest seating, a sample room, a new kitchen, and a bathroom. A Lexan divider separates the conference area which faces a magnetic display wall illuminated by LED track lighting. LED-illuminated globes provide lighting for the custom work stations. Lexan screens on the two front floor-to- ceiling glass walls provide privacy from the busy street outside. SDW preserved the existing mid-century basalt stone wall and selected a new color scheme to harmonize with the stone and the floor.
